Essay Competition - April 2012

For some time our trustees have been concerned that yet more divisions are being created between the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches and that there is a need for a clearer understanding of what it means to be an Anglican.

To this end a prize essay competition was announced inviting people to write on the subject of Why I am an Anglican and believe I shall remain so. It attracted 64 entries from many different countries and the judges were two retired diocesan Bishops.

Much good material was obtained and the Trust would be happy to supply a memory stick containing what were considered to be the best entries. The charge for a stick is £5.
